FSBO

If you are currently marketing your home on your own, or are thinking of marketing your home as a for sale by owner (FSBO), I have put together a package that I will send to you on request to help you understand the procedure of selling your home as a FSBO with minimal risk. The package outlines how to properly prepare your home for sale in detail. It walks you though the Escrow/Title procedure and lists some common risks you will want to avoid.  I also offer free real estate forms needed to complete a transaction if requested. All I ask in return is if you do decide to list with a Realtor to call me first. If you do sell your home as a FSBO at least I would have made a friendship and possibly a referral.

If you would like to request one of these popular free FSBO packages please contact me by ph or email with your name & address. I will then promptly send you the package with no obligation free of charge.

Over 80% of For Sale By Owner (FSBO) homes convert to a listing with Realtors.
Studies made by the National Association Of Realtors (NAR) have indicated that FSBO homes that sold yielded much less than industry average in their local market even after factoring in a Brokers commission. Sellers typically realize the time and complexities required to complete a transaction once an offer has been presented. 78% of purchasers are made though Realtors. That leaves less than ¼ of the qualified buyer’s out there that are willing to buy a home without the free professional representation that a buyers agent offers to protect their own interests.

There are some other factors a seller should keep in mind before making the decision to list their home as a FSBO. Do you know who is coming into your home? Working with Licensed Realtor’s you can rest assured any potential buyer’s that walk’s though your home have been pre-screened by the buyer’s agent. No buyer’s agent will want to waste their time with a buyer that cannot qualify for a loan. A buyer’s agent also accompanies their client though your home and has a record of their identity and contact information. The Buyer’s agent will leave their business card for you to keep a record of who has been though your home. The new lock box system Realtors use notifies the seller’s agent who opened it at what time electronically.
